I took out a $1500 loan from my bank Seven Seventeen to build my credit up. I used my 08& 039 G5 as collateral. Since they required full coverage on it, my rate went from $300 to $900. I decided it wasn& 039 t worth it, and paid it all back as soon as I found out about the car insurance. I& 039 d like to know if having that loan, even if it was short termed, did it improve my credit score? Thank you

I have 3 major credit cards. My 29.99% apr credit card has a 16 year history with me & a credit limit of over $10000. My other 2 credit cards I have had for only a year or two & have an apr of 15.5% & 15.9% with a much lower credit limit of about $3000 each. Should I close out my high apr credit card or will it damage my credit history ?Does the high apr affect the fico score?
