Can i transfer a student loan(private student loan) over to a 0% interest credit card?
the reason i am asking is becausei have 6k in private student loansthey are charging me 10% interesti have a credit card willing to give me 0% interest for 12 months with a 3%transfer fee, if i dont get is paid off in that 12 mos i will tranfer to another 0% card.

0% interest credit cards?
There are a few credit card companies that are offering credit cards with 0% interest for 12 months and $0 annual fees. Therefore, cant i just use a credit card to pay all of my expenses for 12 months and deposit all of my income into an ING direct bank account which gives 5% interest rate , and when the 12 months are over, pay the balance that is on my credit card that is in the bank and then keep the 5% interest that has been saved into my bank account? 5% is a lot when you consider $20,000 worth of expenses. The underlying question is that are there any hidden fees that i maybe missing that will make this plan unprofitable?

Is there ever a time to pay off an 0 interest credit card over a higher interest card?
Ok.. I am able to pay off a 0 interest card that I pay $200 bucks a month on... or pay down a 13.9% card that the payment would still be $200 a month no matter what.. it would just be paid off sooner.. so should I pay the 0% then use that money i save everymonth towards the higher rated card.. I could actually pay off 2 0% interest cards and save $300 a month..no it& 039 s 0% if paid with in the time line and we pay the split up payments..But wouldn& 039 t it be better to free up $300 a month to put towards that higher rated card vs. the paying it down? my monthly income won& 039 t increase but long term it cost what?these 0% interest have no games no nothing as long as i pay ontime and off in the 24 months.. right now I am already ahead of schedule. and have& 039 t been dooped by anyone yet. these are my only debts.. and it is lower then 30% total including all my debt car house etc. . so I used my credit wisely. yes the other debt does suck tho either way I am able to pay everything off in the next 6 mohts or so, so it wont& 039 be long term.

I just graduated college and have a good part time job. I make pretty decent money and am trying to keep my bills low but I do have rent utilities and a phone bill. I dont know if I should transfer to a low interest card or 0% interest card for 12 months or get a personal loan or call credit counseling or what to do. I wont be able to make very big payments possibly up to 200 a month. My card right now has over $300 minimum payments. What should I do???? HELP

0% Interest Credit Card?
I need to make a purchase for $5,000. I was going to get a loan from the bank but then I got an offer for a 0% interest credit card and thought that would be great...I know how the whole thing works and it is limited to 6 months and then jumps up or whatever..But this is what I was wondering..If I were to put a $5k purchase on the card how long would they give me to pay it off?? How much would they expect each month??? With the bank you can set up the payments due by the amount of time on the loan but on the card?? Does anyone know if there is a standard percent of the amount you owe them or anything that they want back each month on a credit card purchase???

Cons to 0% interest credit cards?
I have a HDTV from bestbuy which is 0% interest for 3 years. They re normal rate is around 20% without the promo. If i don& 039 t pay the TV off in 3 years, will the interest start building at the 3 year mark or will they charge me all the deferred interest from the 3 year period?
